Advanced technology in the Rig Veda
Earth is a colonized planet, one of millions. This obvious truth has
been hidden from us during the last six thousand years, all of written
history in this Kali Yuga.
Along with superb and purifying metaphysics, I am
finding evidence of advanced technology in the sacred Rig Veda — just as
there is an abundance of advanced technology in the Sanskrit epic, 'The
Mahabharata' that was composed much later.
The Rig Veda is one of the oldest sacred documents on our planet. No
one knows its date of origin — estimates range between 3000 and 10,000
years ago. Even then the time of origin is hidden, as the Rig Veda was
transmitted orally before it was written in Sanskrit. Thus far I have
found verses that describe our ancient progenitors 'orbit the Moon',
weather modification, 'yellow cake' uranium, spacecraft, plasma [Soma]
physics, and thermoacoustic weaponry on a massive scale with the power
to destroy 90 cities simultaneously [III.12.6].
"The face of the Ultimate is hidden by a golden cover. The cosmic Man,
who is there in the sun, that I am Myself, OM, the abstract, the Divine
Supreme."
— Yajur Veda Samhita XL.17, Vol. III, translated by Swami Sayta
Prakash Saraswati & Udaya Vir Viraj; DAV Publication Division, Delhi,
2012.
"In Time [Kâla] are set this Angiras,
and Atharvan who came from Heaven,
both this world and the world supreme,
all higher worlds and higher interspaces.
Having conquered the worlds by Words of wisdom,
Time [Kâla], the God Supreme, goes on."
— Atharva Veda Samhita, Kânda 19.54.5, translated by R.L. Kashyap;
Sri Aurobindo Kapâli Sâstry Institute of Vedic Culture, Bangalore India,
2011.
A Shamanic Kundalini Upanishad
There is only one soul, this is the Spirit within all things.
'A Shamanic Upanishad' was composed by Brendan Ring, who is a brilliant
musician and contemplative. He plays the Irish wire-strung harp and the
uilleann pipes, the national bagpipes of Ireland. He has his own youtube
channel, so you can hear his wonderful music.

"In duality, how can there be any word without contradiction?"
A perceptive reader recently noticed that there are conflicting
contradicting theories on Metaphysical Musing. As I have ploughed
through the teachings in piles of books - not only various translations
of the sacred Sanskrit texts, but also the comments on them by sages and
scholars - I too realized that they don't always agree.
The thought of contradicting approaches to the Truth did bother me
initially, but over time I have understood. These various approaches
represent the consciousness of enlightened teachers in the context of
their own times, and also the fact that each one is still expressing
through their individual GUNAS.
Sometimes contradictions can in fact serve to breakdown our linear
thinking. For those of you who understand the Tarot, the card that
represents Christ consciousness is a man hung upside down. This symbol
expresses how everything in the transactional desire realms is in
reverse of the enlightened.
"No diversity is the real truth."
The genius Kashmir Shaivite sage Abhinavagupta declared, "All such
theories are merely some dialectical speculations useful in discussions
and debates. None among such entities has any real existence, as all
these are mere suppositions and imaginary concepts of thinkers. ...No
diversity is the real truth."
Yet Abhinavagupta also says that without the sacred texts, we would all
be lost! Why? Because their teachings lead us into the subtle realms,
providing clues through the labyrinths of ignorance. The sacred texts
are entry points into our Source left by the great ones who have gone
before us, and thus require an intensity of focus.
Abhinavagupta also said after we reach God-Consciousness, there is
nothing left to be done — and then he went on the write some 40 books!
Those who make their being a 'Home' for God often become fountains of
Wisdom.
A reader who studied with the Chinmaya Mission says it this way:
"As I understand, teachers contradict themselves and acknowledge the
contradiction. This is part of the process or the tradition of
Self-Knowledge. The tradition or succession of teachers, if not one's
immediate teacher, at the root of the lineage, is a Guru who represents
the Summum Bonum, the Goal / Liberation
... Yet though the Goal is one and without contradiction, when
we speak of it with language that is rooted in duality with a mind that
is also begotten of duality / ignorance, how can there be any word
without contradiction?"
Tripura Rahasya
or
The Mystery Beyond the Trinity
Translated by Swami Sri Ramanananda Saraswati
Introduction:
Tripura Rahasya was considered by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi as one of
the greatest works that expounded Advaita philosophy.
Sri Tripura Rahasya is an ancient work in Sanskrit which has been
printed all over India.
…
As for its philosophy, there is no real reason to distinguish it from
Vedanta. Scholars however call this system the Tantri or the Sakta, and
point out some apparent differences between this and Advaita Vedanta.
This system teaches that the Supreme Reality is no other than Abstract
Intelligence.
‘Intelligence’
signifies Self-luminosity and
‘Abstraction’
denotes its unlimited nature. No other agent can be admitted to exist
apart from It in order to reveal It. The apparent variety is only due to
Vimarsa, the gross aspect of Its absolute freedom known as Svatantra,
which at times unfolds the Pure Self as the Cosmos and at other times
withdraws Itself and remains unmanifest.
Abstraction and manifestation are inherent in the Pure Self; these two
aspects are given the names Siva and Sakti, respectively. There cannot
be manifestation beyond the Supreme Intelligence; therefore Cosmos and
the Self are only the same, but different modes of Reality. Realisation
of the Truth is thus quite simple, requiring only constant remembrance
on these lines, that Reality is not incompatible with the world and its
phenomena, and that the apparent ignorance of this Truth is itself the
outcome of Reality, so that there is nothing but Reality.
Creation and Dissolution are cycles of Self-expression and Abstraction
due to Svatantra. There are no sankalpa-vikalpas (modifications) in the
state of dissolution and the Self remains as Chit in absolute purity and
unchanging. The Self is uniform and undivided. The dispositions of the
individuals of the previous kalpa (creation) remain uncognised but
potential, awaiting to become manifest in the alternating mode. The
tendency in the direction of manifestation is Maya which later displays
as Avidya (ignorance) when the predispositions are in their full swing.
Chit, Maya and Avidya are thus the same Reality. Cosmos is an expression
in the medium of consciousness and thus not unreal as some would have
it.

Excerpts from the Ashtavakra Gita translated by
Anubhavananda Saraswati [available at Exotic India].
3. You are neither the earth, water, fire, air nor space. For attaining
liberation, recognize yourself to be the witnessing Consciousness of all
these.
4. If you dis-identify from the body, you abide in the consciousness,
right away, you are bliss, peace and liberated from bondage.
5.
…You
are neither an object of sense organs too. You are essentially
unattached, formless and the witness of the universe. Recognizing thus
yourself, be happy.
9. I am immaculate pure consciousness.
…
Ashtavakra Gita is different than the Bhagavad Gita in that Arjuna’s
concerns are on the battlefield, in the outer world. The Ashtavakra Gita
is directed at those who are done with
‘fighting
with the outer world’
and now are facing the challenge from within. When we are no longer
bothered by the outer world and yet we are not at peace with ourselves,
we
may keep on struggling. Even when we understand the Truth, we may
require further enlightenment.
